Happy Home is a center with vast visions. Our goal is to be a proactive force in the lives of young children. We believe that each child is a unique and special person with individual, physical, social, emotional, intellectual needs and abilities. Our child-centered program focuses on the development of a positive self-image and fulfillment of each child's potential. In a conducive environment, with appropriate equipment and supplies, enriching experiences are provided with emphasis on sensory and perceptual skills; language development; concept formation problem solving; and abstract thinking. Each child is encouraged to explore and develop by a warm, understanding and capable staff. Through our working relations with the City of Alexandra Social Services and other community based organizations, we will be able to create extensive programs that consolidate a pool of expertise.
